This issue was necessary because the Crown Agents could not supply the Half-penny value as quic
as needed. The Half-penny rate was mainly used for printed matter (newspapers & price lists,.
cover with duplex cancels to Saint Philip with arrival postmark "ST. PHILIP BARBADOS/3/JA 9/94" (type M3)
on strip of six with varieties: short "A" in "HALF" (1 st stamp L-R) & raised "ENNY" (4th stamp L-R) (philatelic)
