                          Barbados is the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands.  It is a small island,
                      being only 21  miles long and 14 miles wide at its widest point near the southern end.
                                  The total area is 166 square miles.  The principal towns are
                     Bridgetown (capital), Holetown (St. James Parish) and Speightstown (St. Peter Parish).
